The house
A whole-house vacation rental for families and small groups, on a quiet residential street in north Pacific Beach, a few minutes from La Jolla. Nobody else is on the property during your stay.
- Sleeps 6 (up to 4 adults): two bedrooms plus two queen sofa beds
- Bedroom 1: king bed, TV, A/C and ceiling fan
- Bedroom 2: queen bed, TV and A/C
- Two full bathrooms
- Bonus room in a separate building: sectional, TV, washer and dryer
- Remodeled kitchen with dishwasher, drawer microwave, and drip, Keurig and Nespresso coffee makers
- Outside: fenced backyard, two decks, BBQ, outdoor dining for six and a lawn
- Walk to the beach: Tourmaline Surfing Park and the sand are a few blocks away, with a beach wagon, chairs, canopy and cooler in the house
- With kids: pack and play, high chair, kids' scooters, games and outdoor toys
- Parking: private driveway spot plus street parking
- Fast fiber WiFi and air conditioning throughout the main house

Before you book
The questions guests ask us most often before they book.
How many guests can stay?
Up to 6 guests, including up to 4 adults. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, bedroom 2 a queen, and two queen sofa beds add sleeping space. Sheets, pillows and blankets for the sofa beds are provided. Traveling with a bigger group? Our second house, Crown Point Jewell on Mission Bay, is a short drive away and sleeps 8.
Is the house in La Jolla?
It is in north Pacific Beach, on the La Jolla border. The beach is about five blocks away, the Cass Street cafes about two blocks, and La Jolla Cove a short drive.
Can we check in early or drop our bags?
Check-in is from 4:00 PM. If the house is ready sooner we will let you in early. We do not have a secure place to hold bags before check-in.
Is it OK to arrive late?
Yes. Entry is keyless with a door code, so you can arrive any time after check-in.
Is there air conditioning?
Both bedrooms have A/C. The bonus room in the separate building has a ceiling fan but no A/C.
What baby gear is there?
A pack and play and a high chair are always at the house. Bring a fitted pack and play sheet; there is no infant insert.
Is there a minimum stay or a discount?
The minimum varies by date, and holiday weekends need three nights. Stays of a week or more get a weekly discount, and any current promotion is already in the price you see.
Are there bikes?
There are kids' scooters, beach chairs, a wagon and toys, but no bikes. Bike rental shops are close by in Pacific Beach.
Can we have visitors?
Parties are not allowed. If a friend would like to stop by, ask us first.
